Head of Growth (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $150,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own the supply side of the expert talent marketplace and develop strategies for sourcing independent contractors across professional domains.
• Build scalable acquisition channels, targeting systems, recruiting playbooks, and workflows for sourcing, outreach, qualification, onboarding, and engagement.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to create internal growth tools, automation, data systems, and experimentation frameworks.
• Optimize the funnel from sourcing through activation while improving expert satisfaction, quality, and retention.
• Forecast supply needs, develop segmentation and matching systems, and monitor marketplace health and capacity constraints.
• Recruit, manage, and coach a high-performing team of growth associates.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in growth, recruiting, talent marketplaces, operations, or a related function.
• Experience building and scaling systems rather than simply executing processes.
• Deep experience partnering with Engineering and Product teams, with strong technical aptitude.
• Strong analytical and operational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to hire and lead high-performing teams.
• Exceptional execution velocity, hands-on approach, ownership mentality, and bias toward action.
