Senior Designer

Location: Must be based on the US West Coast, available during Pacific Time working hours, and able to travel monthly to the client headquarters for collaborative sessions.

Expected weekly compensation: $2,600–$3,400

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality UI and visual design across digital product surfaces using user-centered design principles.
• Contribute to, maintain, and evolve a scalable design system across components, tokens, patterns, variants, and states.
• Translate UX direction and wireframes into polished, pixel-precise, on-brand interfaces.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes and interactive experiences primarily in Figma.
• Explore multiple design concepts and balance strategic and tactical trade-offs across a complex digital product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, strategists, and engineers to integrate user-focused design decisions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating digital product and service design craft.
• Expert Figma skills, including advanced component management, variables, libraries, and design system architecture.
• Clear experience creating and maintaining design systems.
• Ability to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex design problems within established brand guidelines.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• US West Coast location, Pacific Time availability, and monthly travel to the client headquarters are required.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools to inform and streamline design work from research through prototyping.
• Experience working with large, complex consumer brands and highly visible digital products.
