Visual Designer (AI)

What you will do

• Audit the full product experience and improve typography, color, iconography, spacing, and component design.
• Build and own a scalable visual design system in Figma, including tokens, components, and usage guidelines.
• Use AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to create a live, interactive version of the design system.
• Establish and maintain a high visual-quality standard across the product.
• Shape the visual direction of new features during early concepting and exploration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in visual and UI design, with an exceptional portfolio covering typography, color, layout, and interaction.
• Strong visual judgment, a clear point of view, and the ability to explain design decisions.
• Experience turning a visual language into a scalable, consistent system rather than one-off screens.
• Experience building or significantly contributing to a design system used by a team.
• Comfort using AI coding tools to produce and iterate on real outputs.
• A portfolio demonstrating design-system experience is required for consideration.

Nice to have

• Experience building a token system from scratch and connecting it to a live codebase.
• Experience creating a live component library or design system with AI coding tools.
• Experience designing for desktop applications and understanding desktop-first product requirements.
