What you will do
- Own the design of combat and non-combat NPCs and their behaviors.
- Implement game AI using behavior trees and an in-house scripting language.
- Understand animation requirements and dependencies, including character animation graphs.
- Collaborate with gameplay developers and specialists from multiple disciplines.
- Contribute to the development of a new IP and improve the overall gameplay experience.
Requirements
- Experience with visual and object-oriented scripting.
- Experience managing character animation graphs and related dependencies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a creative team.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Regularly play and understand modern video games.
- Creativity, self-critique, openness to feedback, and a respectful team-first attitude.
Nice to have
- End-to-end participation in an AAA project in a gameplay design or AI design role.
- Experience working with more than one development engine.
- Experience playing a variety of video game genres and titles.
