Middle AI Game Designer (Sports Simulator)

hirify.global Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators, including a large-scale AAA title planned for release in 2028–2029.

What you will do

• Design and tune teammate and opponent AI behavior for sports players not directly controlled by users.
• Develop tactical interaction, positioning, teamwork, coordination, and strategic decision-making systems.
• Create challenging and dynamic opponent behavior that responds appropriately to player actions.
• Collaborate with programmers and designers to build realistic AI tailored to sports simulation.
• Optimize and test AI behavior for smooth performance across PC and console platforms.
• Maintain documentation covering AI mechanics, behavioral models, parameters, and development tools.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience as a Game Designer, preferably on PC or console titles.
• Confident knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience using its tools.
• Experience designing or tuning AI behavior for competitive games.
• Basic experience creating and maintaining AI design documentation.
• Ability to manage AI systems with large numbers of variables and parameters.
• Understanding of AI state systems, navigation, strategy, tactical modeling, and sports-game principles.
