HR Generalist

Location: Must be based in Bangkok, Thailand (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Own the full local employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Manage sensitive employee situations and ensure compliance with Thai labour laws.
• Oversee monthly and annual statutory submissions, including tax and social security filings.
• Review payroll for local accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as the first point of contact for local managers and employees regarding HR matters.
• Support workplace and office-related operations and local team engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or operations role, preferably in a startup environment.
• Solid working knowledge of Thai labour law, including the Labour Protection Act, social security, and withholding tax.
• Native Thai speaker with strong working English proficiency.
• Ability to work autonomously as a sole-charge HR practitioner.
• Experience operating in a matrixed structure with multiple regional stakeholders.
• Strong judgment in assessing people and compliance risks.
