Senior Analytics Engineer (dbt)

hirify.global is hiring for its G&A Business Technology Data & Analytics department.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models that transform raw Salesforce, Workday, product, and other source data into reliable analytics datasets.
• Implement data quality testing, monitoring, and documentation to improve trust in reporting.
• Build and maintain Sigma data models and workbooks for self-service business analytics.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable data models.
• Collaborate with data engineers on source data requirements, ingestion, and infrastructure dependencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar data-focused role.
• Expert-level SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with dbt and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design patterns.
• Experience creating BI dashboards, data models, or semantic layers, plus strong Python skills for analysis, automation, or pipeline work.
• Strong communication skills, data quality knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sigma Computing.
• Familiarity with Elementary, Great Expectations, or similar data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance practices, including PII handling, access controls, and documentation standards.
• Experience with version-controlled, CI/CD-driven analytics workflows.
• Experience working in a small data team with broad responsibilities.
