Design Lead (UI/UX)

Location: Remote within the United States only; Atlanta-based candidates are especially welcome and may join in person occasionally.

Expected weekly compensation: $3,000–$3,400

What you will do

• Provide hands-on leadership and creative direction for a team of designers.
• Lead the creation, maintenance, and evolution of complex design systems.
• Shape the creative vision for digital platforms and products serving a global travel audience.
• Collaborate with UX, strategy, and development teams on integrated digital solutions.
• Present creative concepts and design solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers while promoting creative excellence and conceptual thinking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI design, art direction, or a related field, supported by a strong digital product portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, mentor, and develop design teams.
• Deep expertise in scalable, consistent, and innovative design systems.
• Strong knowledge of user interface, application, mobile, and responsive design principles.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including advanced component and library management.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating with UX and development teams.
