Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $10,000 per month

What you will do

• Build and scale data-capture workflows across web applications using Next.js and desktop applications using Python.
• Architect and optimize high-throughput data pipelines handling heavy loads.
• Collaborate with the founding team to define product strategy and ship features quickly.
• Own engineering projects end to end and help establish engineering best practices.
• Lay the groundwork for future engineering team growth.

Requirements

• Able to take a gap semester off and work in person in San Francisco.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Next.js, and Python.
• Demonstrated experience building full-stack web applications.
• Experience with serverless architecture and cloud functions on GCP or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience taking ideas into production.

Nice to have

• Background in AI research, LLM evaluation, or human-in-the-loop systems.
• Founder experience.
