Junior Software Developer (KDB+/Q)

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and maintain service-oriented kdb+/q architecture.
• Collaborate with researchers and traders to model diverse datasets.
• Normalize financial and other datasets to generate a consistent model of reality.
• Build robust, scalable infrastructure that exposes data to users worldwide.
• Own key parts of the infrastructure and provide level 2+ support for critical services during live trading.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject.
• Up to 4 years of experience in a relevant role using kdb+/q.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop professionally.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, testing, optimizing, and troubleshooting data-intensive applications.
• Experience analyzing and organizing financial data.
• Experience with Python, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with database management systems and related technologies such as SQL.
