Software Engineer (C++ or Python) – 2027 Grads (C++/Python)

Location: Austin, Chicago, and New York in the United States; London in the United Kingdom; or Singapore

Salary: US base salary of $300,000 per year; other locations offer locally competitive base salaries. Sign-on and discretionary performance bonuses are also provided.

What you will do

• Create and maintain critical technology and infrastructure supporting trading operations.
• Work with engineers who design trading algorithms and monitor trading in a real-time environment.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve software problems quickly.
• Design and improve software across high-level interfaces and low-level algorithms.
• Develop solutions involving system performance, network communication, and low-level architecture.

Requirements

• Be a full-time undergraduate or master's student in computer science or a related field, eligible for full-time roles in 2027.
• Have working experience with C/C++ or Python and strong computer science fundamentals.
• Demonstrate excellent software design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Understand UNIX operating systems, including Linux, as well as system and processor performance.
• Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of low-level architecture, logic design, or verification.
