Core Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity and a $100,000–$300,000 bonus

What you will do

• Build and scale complex data-capturing workflows across web applications using Next and desktop applications using Python.
• Architect and optimize high-throughput data pipelines handling heavy loads.
• Own core infrastructure systems and deliver projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate with the founding team to define product strategy and ship features quickly.
• Set engineering best practices and establish foundations for future team growth.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Next, and Python, with demonstrated experience building full-stack web applications.
• Experience with serverless architecture and cloud functions for heavy data processing on GCP or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and Elasticsearch for indexing.
• Experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience taking ideas into production.

• Founder experience.
• Background in AI research, LLM evaluations, or human-in-the-loop systems.
