What you will do
- Lead the Fraud Operations team and set priorities, performance expectations, and quality standards.
- Optimize fraud-monitoring workflows, controls, tooling, escalation paths, QA frameworks, and capacity planning.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex fraud cases, live incidents, emerging attacks, and peak periods.
- Use operational metrics and fraud trends to identify weaknesses and drive system and process improvements.
- Partner with Fraud Strategy, Product, Data, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and Client Service teams to improve detection and risk ownership.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in fraud operations, banking fraud, payments risk, fintech, payments, banking, or a comparable environment.
- Proven experience managing fraud operations analysts, experts, or teams in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of transaction monitoring, account takeover, scam patterns, fraud typologies, and operational controls across the case lifecycle.
- Experience managing teams against SLAs, quality standards, and client outcome metrics.
- Advanced SQL skills; Python or another programming language for analysis, automation, or tooling improvements is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required for team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
