Fund Accounting Associate

Location: Westport, Connecticut, United States; onsite four days per week

Salary: $110,000–$175,000 annual wage range, inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. Expected base salary is 80%–90% of the wage range.

What you will do

• Review outsourced partner deliverables for quality, accuracy, and timeliness, including GAV and NAV valuations, P&L reporting, performance returns, and account events.
• Produce client, regulatory, risk and control, and management reporting.
• Act as a liaison between outsourced partners and internal Trading, Account Management, and Client Service departments.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions, including automated controls and reports.
• Support initiatives for new products, markets, and investor requirements.
• Contribute to training, testing, and certification of other Associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record from a competitive school.
• 2–8 years of accounting or operations experience in financial services, such as investment banking, hedge fund administration, hedge funds, or consulting.
• Experience with NAV, valuation, investor allocations, or P&L processes.
• Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; pivot tables, macros, SQL, and other data manipulation or coding skills are valuable.
• Strong problem detection, troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, adaptability, and personal responsibility skills.
• A drive to incorporate AI into daily and strategic workflows.
