Supply Chain Lead (Clean Energy)

What you will do

• Build and manage the end-to-end supply chain function in China from 0 to 1.
• Lead localized New Product Introduction cycles from concept through mass production and own the RFQ process.
• Develop the strategic supplier and purchasing footprint, secure factory capacity, and optimize bills of materials.
• Enforce quality standards and track performance across external factories through detailed production-line audits.
• Coordinate regional execution with the co-founders, finance, and R&D teams.
• Bridge Chinese technical and manufacturing ecosystems with UK-based teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
• Experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within clean tech or a technical hardware industry such as electric vehicles, advanced electronics, or semiconductors.
• Experience managing OEM and ODM relationships, including capacity negotiation and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical components, including PCBAs, power electronics, or battery systems.
• Ability to enforce stringent quality standards and deliver under compressed timelines.
• Written and verbal fluency in English and Mandarin is required. Proficiency with Excel, formulas, pivot tables, multi-tab workbooks, cost breakdowns, and supplier comparisons is also required.
