What you will do

• Launch and manage local supply chain and operations in China in close partnership with co-founders and R&D.
• Develop and manage a strategic supplier and purchasing footprint in China to secure critical factory capacity.
• Drive BOM optimization and manage relationships with top-tier partners.
• Perform hands-on quality enforcement and deep auditing of partner production lines.
• Serve as the primary real-time communication interface between Chinese manufacturing ecosystems and UK teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
• Proven track record in procurement, sourcing, or supplier quality within the clean-tech or technical hardware industry (e.g., EV, semiconductors).
• Deep technical understanding of PCBAs, power electronics, or battery systems.
• Experience driving localized New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles and managing the RFQ process.
• Written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin.
• Must be based in China.
