Senior Software Engineer (Node.js)

What you will do

• Design and build business-focused full-stack applications for gaming and consumer products.
• Own features end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
• Build robust, decoupled services with event-driven systems using SQS and SNS.
• Help scale apps and games to millions of users through the growth engine.
• Define engineering best practices, improve team tooling, and support teammates' growth.
• Contribute to business strategy discussions and deliver solutions for internal, B2B, and B2C users.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Extensive experience with complex backend challenges, including monolith decomposition, greenfield systems, rules-based engines, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DDD, TDD, and other software engineering best practices.
• Strong English communication skills required; French is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js or another modern frontend framework.
• Experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, CDK, or Helm.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
