Financial Crime Senior Specialist

What you will do

• Investigate AML, fraud, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening alerts.
• Conduct EDD and KYC/KYB onboarding checks, identify risks, and escalate issues.
• Provide financial crime subject-matter expertise and support consistent policy application.
• Support process improvements, automation, and operational transformation initiatives.
• Analyze operational data, maintain reporting, and identify risks, trends, and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Product, Technology, and Customer stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in AML, financial crime, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AML and fraud risks, typologies, and regulatory environments.
• Experience working in cross-functional and regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience with Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent English and professional Spanish are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Moody’s, Kibana, or ComplyAdvantage.
• Strong interest in technology, automation, and AI.
