Junior Software Engineer (Backend, .NET)

What you will do

• Design and implement backend features for customer checkout and payment experiences.
• Improve and maintain existing services, keeping code clean, efficient, and scalable.
• Apply software architecture principles, design patterns, performance, resilience, and security practices.
• Work across the software development lifecycle with a focus on testing and quality processes.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Develop technical capabilities with .NET, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra, and Kafka.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Knowledge of C#, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, unit testing frameworks, CI/CD, non-relational databases or search engines, and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Experience with source control, including Git or TFS.
• Interest in modern software development practices, code quality, testing strategies, and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient written and spoken English required.
