Site Reliability Engineer, Storage - Enterprise Technology

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage secure NetApp-based networked storage solutions.
• Build and manage internal systems, including directory services and AI tools, across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop monitoring solutions that support high availability and system reliability.
• Detect and resolve infrastructure issues proactively.
• Promote sound engineering practices across the Enterprise Technology organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience managing networked storage with NetApp appliances.
• Experience troubleshooting NFS and SMB on Linux and Windows.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, observability, and containerized infrastructure monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
