Sr. IAM Site Reliability Engineer (IAM)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; primarily in-office work is required.

Annual base salary: $186,000–$279,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end operation, availability, resilience, and performance of enterprise IAM platforms, including identity providers and lifecycle services.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and workflow automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Tines.
• Automate system patching, provisioning, identity lifecycle management, and routine operational processes.
• Implement observability through metrics, logs, alerting, SLIs, SLOs, and operational KPIs.
• Lead incident response during on-call rotations and drive root-cause analysis and preventive controls.
• Coordinate change risk assessments, deploy identity capabilities, and maintain runbooks and architecture documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating production-grade enterprise infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Experience applying SLAs, SLOs, and operational KPIs to improve service health.
• Expertise in incident response, structured problem management, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with disciplined documentation practices.
