Founding Researcher (AI)

hirify.global builds a human-preference model and Human API that help companies and AI agents predict what people think, want, and decide.

What you will do

• Lead the simulation initiative for modeling human behavior and preferences at scale.
• Define research problems, scope research programs, and establish success criteria.
• Develop models that combine interviews, demographics, and behavioral data to predict individual and group responses.
• Research multi-agent dynamics, including deliberation, consensus formation, and polarization.
• Build generalization and active-learning methods that use model uncertainty to guide additional human research.
• Train models, create evaluations, and collaborate with research engineers to bring the system into production.

Requirements

• Strong research track record in LLMs, post-training, RLHF, behavioral modeling, simulation, or an adjacent field.
• Published research or equivalent industrial impact at a frontier laboratory.
• Ability to define research direction and communicate complex ideas clearly in writing.
• Genuine interest in understanding human preferences, decision-making, and behavior change.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, California.
