Accounts Payable Specialist II

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable mailbox queries from internal and external stakeholders, including statement-of-account and payment-status inquiries.
• Investigate, resolve, and communicate updates on WebQA tickets.
• Process and resolve invoices in the Google Cloud Platform Resolution Queue and investigate Oracle invoice holds.
• Partner with AP Processing, Procurement, IT, and business users to resolve cross-functional invoice and purchase-order issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate preventive improvements to reduce recurring payment-status and remittance issues.
• Support AP Supervisors with User Acceptance Testing for upcoming projects and system enhancements, including Vertex and e-invoicing.

Requirements

• Experience handling complex invoice exceptions and accounts payable inquiries.
• Ability to investigate invoice holds, resolution-queue items, and purchase-order-related exceptions.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate across AP Processing, Procurement, IT, and business functions.
• Experience with root cause analysis and preventive process improvements.
• Ability to support User Acceptance Testing for finance systems and enhancements.
