Software Engineering Director, Cloud Services (Quantum Cloud)

Location: Onsite at the Bothell, Washington office or hirify.global headquarters in College Park, Maryland, United States. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $221,925–$290,558 base salary per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead the technical roadmap and architecture for the hirify.global Quantum Cloud platform.
• Own API design, versioning, documentation, deployment, and operations for cloud services.
• Coordinate integrations with AWS, Azure, and GCP and align them with hirify.global’s cloud strategy.
• Partner with developer tools, product, research, and engineering leadership on platform and SDK integration.
• Manage the cloud services portfolio budget, optimize costs, and track platform KPIs for executive leadership.
• Lead delivery of robust software for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive technical leadership experience, including large-scale cloud platform management; 18+ years is preferred for the more senior profile.
• 7+ years designing and operating cloud APIs and services at scale; 10+ years is preferred.
• Experience shipping and operating business-critical distributed systems and building or scaling platform-as-a-service offerings.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones or continents, including large engineering organizations.
• Prior software engineering and team leadership experience, with sufficient technical depth to engage on architecture and product design.
• For export-controlled technology and government-contract work, U.S. Person status or the required authorization/license exception may be necessary.

• Experience developing sustainable in-house frameworks and abstraction layers.
• Experience with organizational transformation, product design, and business-unit engineering platforms.
