What you will do
- Own warhead architecture and design trade-offs across energetics, electronics and safety, mechanical integration, and testing.
- Define engineering standards, design review practices, development plans, and warhead specifications.
- Build a scalable supply chain covering energetic materials, loading, machining, and test capacity.
- Lead development from concept through design, testing, qualification, and industrialization.
- Serve as the primary warhead authority for program, product, operations, and customer stakeholders.
- Build relationships with test centers, energetic materials suppliers, and industrial partners.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Energetics, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in warhead or munitions development.
- Deep knowledge of the munitions ecosystem, including DGA, prime contractors, state test centers, and applicable regulations.
- Proven experience leading warhead or munitions programs through qualification and into serial production.
- Strong knowledge of NATO safety and qualification standards, including MIL-STD and STANAG.
- Eligibility for French national security clearance is required.
