Fluidic Components Technical Owner (Aerospace): Owning the technical baseline, supplier qualification, delivery readiness, integration, and operations feedback for spacecraft propulsion fluid-control equipment with an accent on requirements, verification, cleanliness, materials compatibility, and safety. Focus on reviewing supplier evidence, exposing leakage and qualification risks, supporting MAIT/AIT and testing, and resolving anomalies across the mission lifecycle.

Location: Bordeaux, France or Munich, Germany

Salary: €50,000–€82,500 per year, depending on location and technical merit

What you will do

  • Own the technical baseline for assigned Nyx Earth fluid-control equipment, including requirements, interfaces, verification methods, qualification logic, review data, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain system-level oversight of fluidic, mechanical, thermal, electrical, command, cleanliness, materials-compatibility, safety, operations, and integration interfaces.
  • Lead technical follow-up of suppliers and manufacturing partners through development, qualification, acceptance, integration, and operations support.
  • Review supplier drawings, analyses, procedures, inspection evidence, test results, deviations, and non-conformance inputs.
  • Support MAIT/AIT preparation, integration and test procedures, acceptance evidence, flight-operations preparation, flight-data review, and abnormal-behaviour treatment.
  • Identify leakage, response, cleanliness, compatibility, lifetime, repeatability, evidence, delivery, and recovery risks early.

Requirements

  • Strong aerospace, mechanical, propulsion, fluids, or related engineering background.
  • Experience with spacecraft propulsion fluidic components such as valves, regulators, fill/drain equipment, or pressure-control hardware.
  • Practical understanding of requirements, verification, cleanliness, materials compatibility, leakage, actuation, testing, qualification, manufacturing support, and failure modes.
  • Experience owning technical supplier follow-up for complex hardware across requirements, interfaces, qualification, delivery, integration, and anomaly support.
  • Strong communication skills with engineering, procurement, quality, MAIT/AIT, test, program, supplier, manufacturing, and operations stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required.
