Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with two days per week in the San Francisco office

hirify.global is building an AI workflow automation platform for healthcare operators, serving hospital and health systems, pharmacies, and payors.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve scalable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and standardize deployment patterns for serverless workloads, containerized services, and workflow orchestration systems.
• Develop internal tooling, automation, templates, and documentation that improve developer experience for backend and ML teams.
• Define observability standards across metrics, logs, and tracing, and identify reliability, latency, and performance issues.
• Investigate distributed-system and Postgres performance bottlenecks, support incident response, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Automate security and compliance workflows, participate in on-call rotations, and implement improvements from blameless postmortems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Production experience operating cloud systems, ideally on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, CI/CD systems, and modern deployment workflows.
• Experience with serverless compute, containerized services, distributed workflows, Postgres, observability, and performance debugging.
• Ability to automate infrastructure and developer workflows, with strong ownership, clear communication, and sound engineering judgment.
