Software Developer, Futures (Low-Latency Trading)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $200,000–$275,000, plus variable year-end compensation.

What you will do

• Maintain, develop, and support low-latency trading systems, improving reliability and performance and resolving operational issues.
• Support and automate statistical models used by low-latency trading systems.
• Develop on-premise and cloud infrastructure for large-scale research workflows.
• Build tools and infrastructure for Futures historical simulations, testing, analysis, and forecasting predictors.
• Analyze historical market data to model exchange behavior and data quality for quantitative research.
• Communicate project priorities and participate in interviewing and recruiting candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience with Python and Java programming.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, functional programming, and software design patterns.
• Experience debugging software in UNIX environments and working with operating systems.
• Experience with low-latency trading systems and systematic or quantitative trading.
