Software Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and optimize high-performance trading software across front-end and back-end platforms.
• Build features and enhancements for trading platforms with a focus on throughput, scalability, reliability, and low latency.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to minimize disruption to trading operations.
• Collaborate with traders, engineers, exchanges, brokers, vendors, and other market participants on integrations and connectivity.
• Contribute to system architecture, documentation, and technical solutions for complex market requirements.
• Monitor technology, regulatory, and financial-market developments relevant to trading systems.

Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional experience in high-performance software development with C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, UDP, FIX, middleware, messaging systems, and low-latency communication.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and deployment or scaling of trading applications.
• Understanding of high-throughput design, multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency optimization.
• Linux command-line, scripting, technical documentation, and communication skills; strong interest in financial markets and algorithmic trading.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, proprietary trading, or market-making firms.
• Knowledge of exchange protocols, order routing, and market data feeds.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
