Director Product Marketing (PCIe)

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience, level, and business need. Discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits may be available.

What you will do

• Lead positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the PCIe signal conditioning product line.
• Define and execute product launches targeting hyperscaler and enterprise customers.
• Develop presentations, white papers, datasheets, and technical marketing collateral.
• Drive design wins, active program execution, strategic account growth, and measurable revenue impact.
• Own competitive analysis and market intelligence for PCIe signal conditioning and AI infrastructure connectivity.
• Partner with engineering, sales, and executive leadership while building and mentoring a product marketing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or technical marketing.
• Demonstrated experience with PCIe technology or high-speed switching and interconnect products.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor products and the silicon development lifecycle.
• Proven success leading product launches in the data center or infrastructure market.
• Experience presenting to and influencing engineers, architects, and other technical audiences.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience marketing to hyperscaler customers such as AWS, Google, Microsoft, or Meta.
• Familiarity with UALink and PCIe Gen 6/7.
• Background in AI/ML infrastructure or data center architecture.
• Experience building product marketing teams at high-growth technology companies, with executive presence and public-speaking skills.
