Lead Software Engineer (Node.js)

What you will do

• Lead planning and execution of high-impact engineering initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Drive engineering architecture, operational governance, system reliability, and development efficiency.
• Own delivery of complex, mission-critical systems while managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate technical decision-making and balance immediate requirements with long-term scalability.
• Define QA practices and CI/CD frameworks across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience, including work in a senior, lead, or equivalent role.
• Deep expertise in the Node.js ecosystem, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, DevSecOps, and production observability.
• Experience implementing unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing strategies.
• Strong communication, mentorship, stakeholder influence, and technical consensus-building skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or GCP cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, decentralized ecosystems, or financial markets.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, DataDog, Jaeger, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with GDPR/CCPA, data privacy, and security compliance in regulated financial environments.
