Director of Silicon Test Engineering (Silicon Photonics)

What you will do

• Define and drive end-to-end silicon test strategy from characterization through wafer sort, final test, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Lead ATE test solution development on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne platforms.
• Build scalable test architectures and optimize test flows for coverage, yield, test time, and cost.
• Analyze yield data, eliminate test escapes, and implement data-driven yield-learning methodologies.
• Partner with design, DFT, product, process, and operations teams on testability, test plans, NPI, and production ramp.
• Oversee high-speed test hardware and interfaces for advanced silicon photonics and mixed-signal devices while building and mentoring the silicon test engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor or silicon photonics test engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams or complex test programs.
• Deep expertise in ATE test development using Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne platforms.
• Strong background in silicon validation, production test, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital or mixed-signal testing.
• Experience optimizing test time, coverage, yield, and cost in high-volume manufacturing.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Perl, and Linux, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
