Internship: Human-Machine Interface (HMI) System Applications (f/m/d)

Location: Gratkorn, Austria; candidates should be based in the greater Gratkorn/Graz area

What you will do

• Develop and optimize an HMI test bench using 6-axis and 3-axis robots.
• Optimize robot movements for accuracy and execution time.
• Extend the existing LabVIEW framework with requested features.
• Design and 3D-print small fixtures.
• Solder SMD components and use laboratory instruments for measurement tasks.
• Support security-related tasks within certification-related assignments.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in a technical field such as information and computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, biomedical engineering, or smart automation.
• Knowledge of working with and programming collaborative robots.
• Knowledge of path planning, precise movements, 3D design, 3D printing, and LabVIEW programming.
• Basic Python knowledge; embedded microcontroller knowledge is advantageous.
• Good spoken and written English, valid work authorization, and availability for approximately 20 hours per week.
• A conscious and reliable approach to security-related work is required.
