TL;DR

Intern (Software Engineering) (C/C++/Python): Developing software for automated testing, data handling, GUI creation, and Nordson EFD product control with an accent on electromechanical systems and data-driven debugging. Focus on developing control algorithms, analyzing root causes in product software, and documenting code in an office and lab environment.

Location: East Providence, Rhode Island, USA; office and lab work required

What you will do

Write high-level software for automated testing, data handling, and GUI creation.
Debug product software through hands-on, data-driven root cause analysis of electromechanical systems.
Develop control algorithms.
Document code and contribute to engineering projects under an assigned supervisor.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related engineering field.
Completed sophomore year before the internship or co-op starts.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python scripting.
Exposure to algorithm development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
