Mechatronics Engineering Co-Op (Embedded Systems)

Salary: $22–$28 per hour

Designs and manufactures turf, irrigation, landscape, snow and ice management, agricultural, rental, specialty, underground construction, and residential equipment.

What you will do

• Convert existing hardware-in-the-loop test systems to a new architecture.
• Write new tests to expand coverage and review and execute regression tests.
• Develop test plans for electronic and mechatronic components.
• Analyze test results to identify trends and failure modes.
• Report test results and design recommendations.
• Assist with additional mechatronics projects as needed.

Requirements

• Complete at least two years of an ABET-accredited engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, or computer engineering.
• Be enrolled in a two-semester Spring–Summer co-op program.
• Preferred technical skills include Python, Arduino, LabVIEW, TestStand, Microsoft Office, soldering, wiring, electrical schematics, DC circuits, and embedded systems.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, collaboration, and accountability.
