Senior IT Auditor

Location: Hybrid work in Austin, TX; Lone Tree, CO; or Westlake, TX

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and execute internal audits focused on IT infrastructure, operations, applications, and security programs.
• Scope audits, design and perform testing, document work papers, and draft audit deliverables in accordance with IIA standards and internal policies.
• Identify audit observations, discuss findings with business partners, and validate completed issue action plans.
• Participate in annual risk assessments, including risk scoring and documentation.
• Track audit status, issues, and budgets while supporting audit team members through coaching and onboarding.
• Contribute to business process improvement and other internal audit special projects.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of IT audit experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience performing internal audits in complex operational and regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of IT risks, internal controls, control adequacy, and control effectiveness.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred; other relevant certifications may be considered.

Nice to have

• Financial services or Big Four accounting experience.
• Experience working with external co-sourcing providers and internal business lines.
• Knowledge of current industry and regulatory issues and standard methodologies.
