2027 Associate - Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring (Corporate Finance)

Location: Boston, MA; must have the legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Support Corporate Finance Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams on advisory engagements.
• Build 13-week cash flow, three-statement, and pro-forma scenario models.
• Analyze financial and operational data to develop findings, recommendations, and value-driver insights.
• Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Collaborate with BRG experts, external professionals, and client stakeholders.
• Support marketing, client pitches, and the development of the consulting practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, management, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of experience, including internships.
• Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, project management, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willingness to travel when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chapter 11 processes.
• Experience with transactions, including sales of assets or businesses.
