Portfolio & Capacity Manager

Location: Aarhus C, Denmark. Copenhagen-based candidates may discuss a hybrid arrangement but should expect regular presence in Aarhus, 6–8 days per month. Applicants must have lived in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years.

What you will do

• Maintain a live overview of IT portfolio activity, ownership, and available capacity using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Assess new project requests with the Enterprise Architect and Director to evaluate portfolio and capacity impact.
• Onboard project managers into the governance model and maintain consistent portfolio documentation.
• Support project handovers from planning into delivery and operations.
• Prepare decision-ready materials, run steering committee meeting cadence, and follow up on decisions and actions.

Requirements

• Solid experience in a PMO, portfolio office, or similar role within an IT organisation.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
• Understanding of project management and agile ways of working.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English required; Danish is an advantage.
• A clean criminal record is required, along with seven years of residence in a NATO and/or EU country.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira.
• Danish language skills.
