Senior Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable services and applications across the platform stack.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern web applications using TypeScript and Vue.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and user experience improvements for complex, data-intensive applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and cross-functional teams on feature delivery, interoperability, and architectural direction.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools, large language models, agentic pipelines, and AI agents into engineering workflows.
• Improve scalability, observability, maintainability, performance, developer productivity, testing, CI/CD, and platform tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js or Deno, RESTful APIs, service-oriented applications, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Vue.js or comparable frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, including ORM usage and direct SQL optimization.
• Strong automated testing experience with tools such as Vitest and Playwright.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare software, medical imaging, regulated environments, large-file or high-throughput systems, and interactive data-intensive applications.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
• Experience with caching, load balancing, API gateways, database optimization, observability, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation and experience participating in architectural reviews or mentoring engineers.
