SLED Systems Engineer (Networking)

Location: Remote in the United States; assigned territory travel required

Salary: $180,000–$205,000 gross annual on-target earnings, with commission on a 70/30 split

What you will do

• Lead technical qualification for assigned accounts throughout the sales cycle.
• Design and architect networking solutions for mid-complexity, multi-product customer environments.
• Drive proofs of concept and technical validation to advance deals.
• Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy and represent the company in customer presentations and demonstrations.
• Train and enable channel partners while mentoring junior Systems Engineers.
• Use Wi-Fi testing and planning tools such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, and NetScout.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in networking or pre-sales engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience independently designing solutions for mid-complexity, multi-product environments and owning technical outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of at least two areas including NAC, RADIUS, 802.1X, Active Directory, LDAP, security, cloud technologies, wireless, SDN, SaaS, routing protocols, or Layer 2 switching.
• Strong consultative, presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

• Extreme Professional, CCNP, CWNA, or equivalent certification.
