Senior UI/UX Engineer (Next.js)

Location: Remote; applicants from any country are welcome if located within approximately ±4 hours of CET.

What you will do

• Own the UI/UX quality of a core D2C subscription product and define the standard for every interface decision that ships.
• Take major visual features from brief through design exploration, written rationale, implementation, and final polish.
• Build and refine mobile-first interfaces in Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Own the design system and its documentation, ensuring consistency across screens, devices, and locales.
• Supervise developers' UI/UX work by setting direction, reviewing output, advising on solutions, and driving tasks to completion.
• Run an AI-first design and development workflow, maintain shared prompting assets, and assess when AI-generated work is ready for production.

Requirements

• Experience as the final UI/UX quality owner for a product, with sign-off responsibility for shipped work.
• Production experience using AI design and coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent, including advanced prompting.
• A portfolio of shipped, live consumer web products demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Strong React or Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript skills sufficient to implement and refine designs in production code.
• Experience building or maintaining design systems and guiding other developers' UI/UX work to shipped quality.
• Ability to work within approximately ±4 hours of CET.
