Senior Software Engineer II (Python)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of key technical projects aligned with business and customer needs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders on project scope, timelines, resources, and technical direction.
• Write high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and contribute to engineering standards and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor engineers, support hiring and onboarding, and potentially manage less experienced team members.
• Drive adoption of technologies and architectures that improve product functionality and performance.
• Own team-developed products and features through deployment and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in technical leadership or senior software development roles.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Extensive experience with Python and cloud-based environments.
• Product engineering mindset with focus on business impact.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Experience or willingness to work with AWS, GCP, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, Django REST Framework, databases, and cloud-native infrastructure.
