What you will do
- Develop and deliver high-quality, cost-effective returnable series for NI and Daytime & Early Peak Commissioning.
- Lead cross-platform content strategies for Gaeilge and Ulster-Scots programming.
- Use audience insights, broadcasting trends, and creative opportunities to define priorities and measure progress.
- Line-manage Assistant Commissioners specialising in Gaeilge and Ulster-Scots.
- Manage internal and external partnerships to maximise creative, audience, and cultural impact.
- Oversee timely delivery of programming and related marketing, press, and iPlayer materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience as the primary or sole editorial lead for high-quality broadcast content on Network or an equivalent platform.
- Significant experience managing editorial work involving substantial legal or reputational risk.
- Experience designing and presenting content strategies informed by audience needs, industry trends, new technologies, and creative opportunities.
- Experience leading content creation or development for high-volume, cost-effective daytime programming.
- Strong editorial judgment, creative flair, partnership skills, and discipline in managing delivery.
- Understanding of Northern Ireland’s cultural distinctiveness and the role of Gaeilge and Ulster-Scots in programming.

- Written and spoken proficiency in Gaeilge and/or Ulster-Scots.
