What you will do

• Edit, write, and publish copy and video for the online Politics Hub live blog.
• Develop effective headlines for political content across the app and website.
• Curate political stories to showcase the strongest journalism.
• Work closely with assistant editors, reporters in Millbank, and the wider online team in Osterley.

Requirements

• Excellent news judgment and demonstrable political knowledge.
• Significant sub-editing experience.
• Ability to learn and apply the hirify.global News style guide.
• Strong communication skills and proven cross-functional teamwork.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Successful applicants must complete a criminal record check.
