Frontend Engineer (Vue)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid with at least 2 days per week in the office. Candidates willing to relocate to Berlin are considered.

Salary: €65,000–€90,000 per year, plus equity worth 25% of base salary.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and implement new product features.
• Build and maintain user-facing features in Vue.
• Develop backend services and APIs using TypeScript.
• Contribute to the architecture of the overall system.
• Participate in code reviews and apply software development, infrastructure, and deployment best practices.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong focus on frontend engineering with flexibility to work on backend tasks and grow into a full-stack role.
• Solid engineering fundamentals and the ability to write clean, efficient code.
• Ability to assess technical trade-offs related to scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience or interest in TypeScript-based frontend and backend development.
• Ownership, proactive problem-solving, and comfort working in a startup environment.
