Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Salary: EUR 70,000–85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Build high-traffic user interfaces and new shop features for enterprise e-commerce platforms.
• Develop conversion-focused frontend features using Vue 3, Nuxt 3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and the Tech Lead on design systems and architectural decisions.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, automated and manual testing, and Scrum retrospectives.
• Ensure end-to-end quality and pixel-perfect implementation with Vitest and Playwright.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and the internal engineering technology community.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Professional experience with TypeScript and Vue 3.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Tailwind CSS, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Practical experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.
• Background in B2C e-commerce or a fast-paced boutique agency environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis.
• Knowledge of Vue Storefront and SCAYLE.
• Additional passion for frontend performance and accessibility.
