Business Analyst (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Define and document business processes and requirements through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into viable technology solutions with measurable business benefits.
• Produce functional and non-functional documentation, including BRDs, RFPs, DRSs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support development and testing throughout build and test phases.
• Coordinate smooth transitions into production and support implementation and rollout of critical systems.
• Identify new technology opportunities and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders and business users.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle and a background in software development.
• Experience with UML, BPMN, or other process modelling notations.
• Experience with Agile methodology, preferably Scrum; SAFe experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, writing, listening, stakeholder management, planning, and task-tracking skills.
• A third-level qualification, preferably in IT; PBA or CCBA certification is preferable.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• PBA or CCBA certification.
