Business Analyst

TL;DR

Business Analyst: Managing and verifying business requirements, designing object models, and supporting implementation within an engineering team with an accent on requirements documentation, iterative development, and process improvement. Focus on analyzing complex information, collaborating with developers and stakeholders, and ensuring features meet business objectives.

What you will do

• Manage requirements: elicit, verify, support implementation and deployment.
• Design object models, states, and transitions with developers.
• Create project artifacts such as Vision & Scope, SRS, and Use-Cases.
• Review work progress to ensure compliance with initial concepts.
• Participate in iterative development, provide feedback, and update requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Support stakeholders in understanding technical constraints and propose alternatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and experience creating UI mockups and prototypes.
• Experience with UML, BPMN, Data Flow diagrams, and Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira).
• Fluent in Russian and English (minimum B2+ level).
• Knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and experience in agile teams.

Nice to have

• Understanding of microservice architecture principles.
• Familiarity with API specifications and system interactions.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools or SQL.
• Understanding of cloud platforms in microservice ecosystems.
