Lead Azure Platform Engineer

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure landing zones and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Define Azure governance through policies, management groups, role-based access control, and cost management.
• Architect multi-region Azure networks using Azure Firewall, NSGs, Private Endpoints, ExpressRoute, VNET peering, DNS, and routing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and optimize cloud environments with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, document solutions, and collaborate with architecture, security, and application development teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in Azure cloud engineering and enterprise Azure adoption.
• Experience designing and implementing Azure landing zones and workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, security, governance, policies, and cost management.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation with Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep, and PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Applications must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate certification.
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with Jira, Kanban, Scrum, story pointing, estimations, and cross-functional project delivery.
• Experience designing cloud-native or AI platforms.
