Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work with office attendance 3 times a week.

What you will do

• Design and ship end-to-end AI agents for customs compliance, document processing, exception management, and other logistics workflows.
• Build AI-powered applications that make operations smarter, faster, and increasingly autonomous.
• Identify high-impact problems, align stakeholders across organizational boundaries, and deliver solutions from concept to production.
• Work directly with operators, domain experts, and leadership to turn ambiguous operational needs into shipped products.
• Move quickly from ideas to production and use deployments to improve the systems continuously.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience building with LLMs.
• Practical fluency with agent patterns, RAG, prompt engineering, tool use, and evaluation.
• Full-stack development capability with TypeScript and Next.js.
• Strong product instincts, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional alignment and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal.
• Experience building internal tools or operator-facing applications.
