What you will do

• Work with senior hardware engineers on hardware engineering activities.
• Support system modelling, verification, and design implementation.
• Follow full-scale FPGA designs from initial specification through production.
• Collaborate on live technical challenges, system improvements, and technical issues.
• Learn how hardware and software technologies are used to build and maintain trading systems.

Requirements

• Some experience with C#, C++, or VHDL, FPGA technologies, and related EDA toolsets.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Enrolled at an Irish university and required to complete a work placement as part of the course.
• Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, curiosity, and collaboration skills.
